Wadelene Nicola was born and partially raised in the Caribbean. She moved to Broward County Florida during her teenage years where she is now a MBA student at Florida Atlantic University. She graduated High School at Whiddon-Rogers Education Center. She also graduated from the Arts Institute of Fort Lauderdale with a degree in Broadcasting and graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Business administration and Supervision at Broward College in Coconut Creek Florida.
Ms. Carole, as she prefers to be called, managed and produced her own Radio and TV shows (emanating from Broward County) for over three years. Now, she is the writer and the executive producer of the new TV Show entitled “Obama Nation”. She also produced a TV show entitled “Life in Miami” which aired on ion TV in 2007 in Florida. She produced another TV show entirely in Creole entitled “Kompa en action TV show” aired on Comcast Cable for Broward County only for over 2 years. She volunteered and worked for CHS - a Non-profit organization based in Miami, Florida when they used to do the Roots festival in Miami
She wrote and produced 13 independent films (Tifi Paste-a/Pastor’s daughter #1, #2, #3, and Jan-w Wel La/It’s what you see #1 & #2, Qui est Ton vrai Ami/Who Is your real friend? Grande Soeur/Older sister, Grenn5 Tifi Paste-a Pi red #1, & #2, Vil-la/The City etc…) targeting the Haitian-Caribbean community which has been released on DVD in the USA, Canada, Europe, and in the Caribbean. As an entrepreneur and the brain behind her own company Kompa en action, Inc., she recently produced one of her scripts “MISTAKING SPELL” entirely in English targeting the International film industry. She also turned the movie script into a book with the same name “Mistaking Spell”.
Her radio, TV shows and films have made her a household name in the South Florida area. She is always available for advice and her faithful can never have enough of her. Ms. Carole would go above and beyond in order to response favorably to her supporters and fans. She is a proud democrat; with many Republican friends. She thinks the Democratic Party is more in tune with the middle class and the poor’s problem in this country.
Her philosophy can best be summed up with the following: “Don’t put off for tomorrow what can be done today. If you can dream it, she can script it and put it on the big screen.
